Wild salmon return to their rivers, having spent two or three years roaming the open seas of the North Alantic feeding naturally and building themselves into peak condition.
For centurie they have been in Scottland by the traditional bag net. Their urge to swim only upriver leads them into nets that are fixed the the sea shore which are emptied as the tide recedes. Our supplies of wild salmon are from Montrose Bay on the Angus coast.
